The Venue at The Pond on Madison ("The Venue," "we," "us") operates this website. We keep this simple, because our approach to your information is simple: we collect what we need to plan your event, and we don't sell it to anyone.
When you fill out our inquiry form, call, or email us, you may share your name, email address, phone number, event date, guest count, event type, and any details you choose to include about what you're planning. You provide all of this voluntarily — there is no way to browse this site that requires you to hand over personal information.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages people visit and how they found us. It is privacy-focused by design: it does not use cookies, does not create a persistent identifier for you, and does not follow you to other websites. We see aggregate patterns — page views, referring sites, general country and device type — not individual people.
Our web host also keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
A few features are provided by outside companies, and those companies receive some information when the relevant page loads:
These services handle information under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not currently run advertising or retargeting pixels on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy and note it here before those tools go live. We share your information only with vendors who help us operate — such as the services listed above, or a caterer or partner directly involved in your event — and only as needed for that purpose, or where the law requires it.
We do not set any cookies of our own, and our analytics are cookieless. The only cookies you may encounter come from the embedded Google Map and the Tripleseat form. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work, though the map may not display.
We keep inquiry and event records for as long as we have a business reason to — to serve repeat clients, honor anniversaries, and meet our recordkeeping obligations. We use reasonable safeguards to protect what we hold, though no method of transmitting or storing information online is completely secure.
You may ask us what personal information we have about you, request a correction, ask us to delete it, or opt out of our emails. Just reach out using the contact details below and we'll take care of it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law, and we will honor those requests as well.
This site is intended for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we update this policy, we'll revise the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here.
